When should you file your income tax returns?
Unless you have a tax agent or have been granted an extension of time by the Inland Revenue Department you must file your income tax returns by 7 July each year.
The exception to this is if you have a late balance date in which case the income tax returns must be filed by the 7th day of the 4th month after your balance date. A late balance date is any approved date between 2 April and 30 April inclusive.
